ONG Building on Tulsa Gal's Blog
It's been a long time. Sorry for the lack of updates on Lost Tulsa. I've been going through a very tough year, and my motivation has been lacking. I haven't forgotten about all of you, though. I appreciate the e-mails and comments you've left, even in my absence.
Just noticed a recent post on Tulsa Gal's Blog about her cold, windy Tulsa Treasures Tour of the former Oklahoma Natural Gas building. She took some wonderful photographs while they toured the building's lobby. I'm particularly fond of the directory and mailbox (which are sadly a thing of the past in office buildings now). Thanks for sharing your visit with us, Tulsa Gal!

Welcome back. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to see a new update at Lost Tulsa. I am also extremely sorry to hear that you've had a tough year, and while I obviously don't know (nor will I ask) the details, I hope that things improve and that the coming year proves to be a lot better for you.
After such a span of time since your last update, I was quite worried that Lost Tulsa was going to go the way of many of its subjects: Abandoned and left to fade away. I kept checking every week or two to see if anything new had been posted. I was so used to seeing the Nelson's Buffeteria post as the 'most recent' that I was almost startled to see something new.
It means a lot to have you back to work on Lost Tulsa again. As I have noted in one of my own blog entries back in March, Lost Tulsa is an extremely valuable resource for those of us who want to remember Tulsa the way it used to be. You've done some great work, and there are lots of people who appreciate it.
So, again, welcome back, and I hope that you have a terrific holiday season.

I thought you'd packed up and left town! Sorry you've had a rough time of it, but glad you are still around. (that kind of rhymes, doesn't it?) And thanks for the mention.
